    Jamie, is thrilled to bring over 30 years of experience and passion to his latest adventure, Frico on 2nd. Showcasing multiple styles of pizza from around the world, Frico on 2nd features only the best ingredients, the highest quality cheeses, and dough made fresh by hand daily. Jamie’s hard work and dedication to his craft have led him to win a multitude of awards including four world championships. Well-known and loved in the industry, Jamie has learned from the best and delighted many pizza connoisseurs with his delicious creations. He has devoted much of his career to mentoring countless hardworking, passionate pizzaiolo around the country, including all of the employees right here at Frico on 2nd!

    Born and raised in New York and of Italian descent, Tony Flugel discovered his passion for pizza at an early age. With 19 years of professional experience, Tony has dedicated his life to perfecting the craft of pizza making — a journey that has taken him around the world. Through hands-on training and global culinary exposure, he has refined his skills and deepened his understanding of pizza in all its forms.

    A major influence in Tony’s career has been his 15-year friendship with master pizzaiolo Jamie Culliton. More than a friend, Jamie has served as a mentor, helping shape Tony’s techniques and fueling his passion for excellence. Their shared love for the craft led to a proud partnership and the opening of their New York City pizzeria — a true culmination of passion, tradition, and global experience.

    Tony continues to bring heart, heritage, and authenticity to every slice, delivering pizza that reflects his roots and his relentless dedication to the craft.
